Comedy Night Supports Kids

I chose the opportunity for Anita to perform in my hometown and the proceeds of the performance to be donated to Tacoma YFC Foster care.
A few years ago I started following comedian, Anita Renfroe, on Facebook. Every few days she would post a thought which would range from over the moon hilarious to deeply mind provoking.
A year ago one of her posts was about a giveaway she was doing. Anita was getting ready to tape her latest DVD live. The winner of the give away could either have two free tickets to the taping in Georgia or have Anita perform in the winner’s hometown and donate the performance proceeds to a charity of the winner’s choosing. The first time I saw the post about the contest I overlooked it.
On the last day to enter the contest I figured I had nothing to lose, so I liked her Facebook page and made a comment. The following day I was quickly scrolling my page when I noticed my picture below Anita’s Facebook post. I won!! At this point I was screaming through my house to the shock and dismay of my kids arriving home from school. They all thought I was seriously injured or dying.
After regaining my composure, I called Anita’s office and claimed my prize. I chose the opportunity for Anita to perform in my hometown and the proceeds of the performance to be donated to Tacoma YFC Foster care. Logistics and Anita’s schedule took time to match up, but I am so excited for her performance!
She will be performing at Our Savior’s Baptist Church in Federal Way on Saturday, March 21 at 7:00 pm. Limited VIP tickets are $25.00 and general admission is $10.00. VIP tickets include early admission, priority seating and the opportunity to meet Anita before the performance
